During the early hours of October 7, snowmaking began at Copper! Our crews start from the top of the mountain near the Super Bee lift and make their way down Copperopolis then onto Andy's Encore and the U.S. Ski Team Speed Center. They also supply plenty of snow on our early season trails Rhapsody, Main Vein, Bittersweet, Foul Play and more.

Race training begins October 19 and Opening Day is November 16 where we'll be debuting the new American Eagle chair/gondola combination lift! Read more about the lifts and construction here

Our snowmakers work so hard to provide the best early season snow surface they possibly can so next time you see them, give them a big 'ole hug or high five.
