While it’s only September, it’s time to start thinking about your Copper ski vacation. Before we know it, the snow will be flying and you’ll want to be prepared for your visit to Colorado. Here are some tips to book like a pro.
1) Book NOW.
The earlier you buy, the better the deals are especially when it comes to lodging prices, lift tickets and special add-ons like activities, rentals and lessons.
2) Book any ancillary activities or offers in advance too.
Activities like tubing tend to sell out throughout the season. Before you arrive, be sure to call ahead to secure your spot. Also, book your Ski and Ride School lessons as far in advance as you can.
The Rocky Mountain Coaster does not accept reservations so if you’d like to do this activity, get there early to avoid the line and keep an eye out for weather cancellations and delays.
2) Figure out what works for you.
From our One. Two. Free! package for 3 or more nights, 50% off a 2-night stay and everything in between, different packages can get confusing. Create a pros and cons list for each and choose based on what works for you and your family. Don’t be afraid to reach out to our reservation specialists too – that’s what they are there for!
3) Research, research, research.
You don’t show up to an airline counter and buy a plane ticket on the spot do you? The same goes for a ski vacation especially when it comes to purchasing lift tickets. You'll save yourself a boat load of time and money.
5) Explore the area.
Not only do we have three villages to explore but the Town of Frisco is just a quick 6 miles east of Copper offering a wide array of restaurants, activities and shopping. There’s a ton of history to the area as well. We recommend checking out the Historic Museum on Main Street.
