Family Day at Copper

by Lu Snyder

Family ski days with your little tyke can be both exhilarating and (dare I say it?) a little boring. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of seeing your youngster get a taste of the sport you love, but unless you’re a beginner skier or boarder yourself, green runs can get old, fast.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

What Makes Copper Special

by Samantha White

Copper is special to me because most of my progression doesn’t just lie in my abilities as a snowboarder but also the way I shape my outlook on life. Whether it’s getting fresh powder turns in the middle of winter to those beautiful sunny days dialing tricks in the park, I just can’t walk away without a smile on my face.

Toast & Co.: Copper Mountain's Ingenious Blend of Breakfast and Booze

by Tracy Greenhalgh

Copper Mountain’s brand new breakfast eatery, Toast & Co., (located in Center Village across from Copper’s iconic Fire Ball) will warm your chilly morning and satisfy your cravings for all things savory, sweet, and even boozy.

This inviting and cozy enclave, appointed with comfy couches and chairs (plus table and bar seating) exudes an understated hip, vintage flair. Strains of bluegrass and coffee house tunes float through the air mingling with the titillating scent of a hearty breakfast cooking on the griddle and stove.

Where to Stay with the Family at Copper

So you’ve made the decision to gather up the family and take a Colorado ski vacation – now what? Booking the right lodging is crucial to a successful trip. That house, condo or hotel room is going to be your home base; the place you relax after a long day on the slopes. While the options around Summit County may be endless or overwhelming, staying right at Copper Mountain is your best bet for family-friendly ski resort lodging.
